Human trafficking is a major issue of global concern. It can be regarded as modern day slavery in that victims are controlled by traffickers with violence and intimidation for the purpose of exploitation for economic gains.

The overwhelming majority of people trafficked are women and children. They form the most vulnerable group and estimates show that up to 4 million are trafficked each year worldwide for forced labour, domestic servitude, or sexual exploitation.

Many women and children all over the globe are trapped in a world of forced sexual slavery where rape, physical and psychological abuse is commonplace and escape is almost impossible.  Trafficking is a serious human rights abuse and must be tackled immediately.

Join the ATA and help us eliminate forced abduction and trafficking into sexual slavery today!
