What's Next for ATA?

Print

After 7 years of raising awareness of sex trafficking, the Anti-Trafficking Alliance is scaling down its activities.  The ATA thank its many supporters and colleagues for their hard work and commitment to tackling sex trafficking into the UK.

ATA’s website resources, including this new website, our film website and our online game, will remain live until 2013.   To date, these web resources have reached over 3 million people and remain an effective tool in addressing the ‘demand’ side of sex trafficking.

Since our inception in 2005, we have worked without core staff or office space, instead using consultants and resources as required by individual projects.  An External Evaluation commissioned by ATA in 2010 highlighted ATA’s successes, but also drew attention to the challenge we now face in taking the organisation forward.  Read our External Evaluation (pdf file)

We will continue to support:

Our digital campaign to tackle demand for sex trafficking

This includes running and directing traffic to our three campaign websites:

Campaigns run by other groups and networks tackling sex trafficking including:

  • The  2012 Olympics Sex-Trafficking Sub-Group
  • The Soroptimist International: Purple Teardrop Campaign
